Psychological Thriller | Penguin RHUK | Rating: 5 ⭐
👭
Three little girls.
One good.
One bad.
One dead.
Squeaky- clean school shoes.
Shoulder bags bobbing.
Blonde plaits flapping.
Two pairs of feet. One slightly larger.
'Come on. We're going to be late.'
Nearly there. Almost safe.
Pavement edge.
Another pair of feet.
No!
A scream.
Silence.
Blood seeping on the ground.
Spread a d spreading.
All because of a street which I had to tell in order to protect another.
Some of it is coming back now.
But there's more.
I can feel it.
👧
From the very first page the mystery starts to begin and the sense of anticipation is what keeps the readers hooked until the last page. It has strong narration, full of twist n turns and every time you think you know where it's going a new twists is dropped. loved the characters, well constructed storyline. No unnecessary details in chapters which can make it boring and above all and most important thing which every psychological thriller need is an unpredictable ending and Ms. Corry has done it perfectly. Summing up everything it's intense and hair-pulling and nail- biting read.
